The Boy Who Invented Everything
Sam McNulty is The Boy Who Invented Everything, a Coventry songwriter ‘hopelessly consumed by the power of pop music’. He understands the simplicity and beauty of the 3 minute pop song.
Sam’s career began way back in the heady, early days of punk when alongside the nascent 2 tone movement he started the legendary SQUAD with THE SPECIALS lead singer TERRY HALL.
Sam then fronted a quintessentially quixotic pop quintet, THE GIRAFFES, guiding them through several decades of ever- changing styles and musical cultures, forming along the way, the LOVE AND MADNESS record label as a vehicle for their brilliant, beautiful pop madness and eccentricity.
