Since moving to London Mokoy has followed in his grandfather's footsteps, writing, producing and performing with artists such as Sinkane and Nicholas Krogrvich, with much more on the horizon.
Mokoy got his start in Coventry developing his skills as well as performing on festival stages such as the Isle of Wight Festival, Godiva and Canal Basin Festival. Mokoy has been described as a ‘soulful throwback’ after his newly released Album, VOL 1. DARKBLVCK.
He is a self-taught pianist and guitarist with heartfelt lyrics for reflection interwoven in his songs. His fusion of current R&B and reminiscent jazz melodies allows for a new sound on the music landscape that is fresh but familiar.
